Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, sealed and in its original packaging. You will also require receipt or proof of purchase. 

To start a return, you can contact us at customerservice@elitescootersscooters.co.uk. 

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Please be advised where a product is requested to be returned within the 30 day return policy period, unless reported as faulty, all return shipping fees shall be borne by the customer. Free returns are welcome to our shop location.

Where a product is reported as faulty within the 30 day refund policy period and is a used condition, please note a full return inspection will be conducted within 2 working days on receipt of the product to ensure the product has not been subject to misuse or damage which may have resulted in a fault occurring, prior to accepting the return. In this instance, all return shipping fees will be borne by the customer and an exchange product offered if available. Where a product is unavailable, we will offer a refund at our discretion and associated shipping fees.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

After Sales

All of our product ranges are provided with varying manufacturers warranties to offer peace of mind for your purchase. 

Where an after sales requirement exists and your item is required to be returned to us for any warranty inspection, we will cover the cost of shipping fees to do so up to 3 months. This is calculated from the day your item was received. 

From 3+ months, we will work with customers to offer discounted shipping rates to arrange return of an item.  In person returns to store for any warranty claims are also welcome during this period. 

Items can only be returned where they are appropriately packaged, and sealed. We are unable to accept any liability for any additional transit damage which may occur where items are not returned in original packaging. 

Please note, where an item is reported to be faulty within its warranty period, a warranty inspection will be required prior to validate any claim. 

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept any return of our products which are not in the same condition as they were received, in original packaging and unused (unless a fault notification has been submitted via customerservice@elitescooterscotland.co.uk). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

We cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards if applicable.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
